Serbia president Boris Tadic meets Romania president Traian Basescu

Serbian president Boris Tadic was received at noon by his Romanian homologue, Traian Basescu, TV news stations inform. After the official meeting, the two will organize a press conference, around 13:00h. Romania is the first neighboring country Tadic visits after the Kosovo province self-proclaimed its independence. Romania didn’t recognize the new state. Tadic will also meet prime minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu and the speaker in the House of Deputies, Bogdan Olteanu.
