Romanians may benefit from US amnesty for illegal immigrants

The US Senate may announce before the end of the week a general amnesty for illegal immigrants in on all American soil, after sources in Washington confirmed that some new laws reached a final shape after the Democrat – Republican negotiations.

According to the sources, some 12 million individuals may benefit from the amnesty and even be enabled to bring their close relatives (wives/husbands, parents and children) to the US.

Among those who benefit from the law there may be several thousands of Romanians who arrived in the US with three-month contracts or scholarships and never left.
