Eight Romanians run in Italy local elections

As an absolute premiere, the Romanian Identity Party (RIP) has no less than eight candidates on the lists for the Italian local elections, after signing in February a collaboration agreement with the Italian Popular Party (UDEUR).

Staring on January 1st, 2007, Romania is a full member of the European Union and Romanian citizens are allowed to participate in the political life of their residence countries.
