Four dead in Bucharest building site

A giant crane crumbled on Wednesday morning on a construction site in Bucharest causing the death of four workers and seriously injuring other two.

The unit manager where the two were hospitalized says the workers are in a difficult, yet stable status, both of them being still conscious.

Sources claim the exterior elevator of the crane crushed while the workers were trying to disassemble the machine.

District mayor, Neculai Ontanu, says that the company working on th site has all the necessary documents.

Prosecutors begun to investigate the accident, trying to establish the causes that lead to the disaster.
