The state will subsidize by over 5,000 euro institutions that opt for electric cars
Public institutions that opt for electric cars through the program that allows the replacement of old cars with new ones will benefit of 5,300 euro from the state, Environment minister Laszlo Borbely declared who initiated an emergency ordinance on this matter. For those institutions that will opt for an electric car without replacing old cars, the state will offer a 25% subsidy from the value of the car, the minister said.
He added that the ordinance will most probably be adopted in two weeks time. The minister said that different facilities will be offered for 100% electric cars and for hybrids. For starters only public institutions will be able to purchase such cars because the public does not have the necessary infrastructure.
