Mihai Tanasescu, IMF about maternal leaves: IMF did not impose any quantum / The decision pertains to authorities 

IMF discussed with Bucharest authorities a series of principles for a better spending of public money but the way spending is restructured, depends on authorities, IMF Romania’s representative Mihai Tanasescu declared.

His declarations follow the declarations of sources within the governing coalition who declared that the IMF imposed a ceiling on maternal leave aid. Tanasescu said that there are plenty of excesses in social assistance ai and the Romanian authorities should restructure them.
