Vodafone Romania services income reach 630 mln USD

The income obtained from services by telecom company Vodafone Romania rose by 31% in the first half of the fiscal year 2006-2007, reaching 630.5 million USD by September 30, the company announced today. The number of clients also rose by 29% to 7.15 million in the same period.

About half of the income growth resulted from the quarter of July 1-September 30, 2006, when services brought some 331.8 million USD to the company.

The EBITDA profit rose by 28% compared to the same period last year, with 322.6 million USD in the six-month period and 172.8 million in July-September.
